Responding once again to the calls to cover the needs in essential clothing and footwear, along with 17 volunteers of the organization, we visited the warehouses of INTERSPORT during the Easter vacation. In three intensive days we sorted items and managed to gather 80 boxes with 1.818 items of clothing and footwear for 949 beneficiaries!
More specifically, we collected:
- 949 pairs of shoes
- 614 clothing items
- 255 accessories
The items were distributed to:
- the Women’s Association “Hope”, in the Muslim minority of Drosero, Xanthi
- the Accommodation Space of Ukranian refugees of METAdrasi
- Transit Accommodation Facilities for Unaccompanied Minors of METAdrasi in the islands of Chios and Samos
- Accommodation Facility for Unaccompanied Minors of Kinoniko EKAV in Athens
- Temporary Reception Facilities where Arbeiter Samariter Bund (ASB)offers their services in Epirus
