During the summer, two volunteer students of the “Improving the lives of the Elderly II” program, along with 3 of their classmates made 4 visits to two Elderly Care Units to hang out with the beneficiaries and talk with them.
With the “Words of Wisdom” that they heard from the seniors, they created tote bags that they distributed to their school during the Fall. With the proceedings they offered to 4 Non-Profit care homes 4,888 basic necessities and medical consumables, based on their needs, which were delivered at the end of February.
The items were:
- 324 cans of condensed milk
1,320 masks
3,000 gloves
244 COVID-19 self-tests
