Today, the completely renovated Health Center of Palamas bears no resemblance to the near-total devastation suffered by Hurricane Daniel. During our visit, we got to know the medical and nursing staff who, with a lot of personal effort and admirable zeal, together with the Administration and the 5th RHA, managed to build the Health Center from scratch, which today is a modern, state-of-the-art Health Unit.
Responding to the request made to us, with a strong sense of social responsibility, the organization Mission ANTHROPOS offered the Palamas Health Center important medical and technological equipment, such as a defibrillator, hospital bed, electrocardiograph, furnace, centrifuge, doppler device and other items.
Part of the specific donation was also supported by the student-volunteer of our organization, Christos Mp., originally from the area, who donated the profits from his”FloodReliefThessaly” initiative for this purpose, and we sincerely thank him for his contribution!
