Mission \u201cANTHROPOS\u201d<\/em><\/strong> is committed to offering free and effective medical care and humanitarian support worldwide.<\/p>\n

We are a Greek non-profit organization, member of the National Registry of Non Profit Organizations (No. 09121\u0391\u0395\u039515006\u039f14\u039d-1220), the Special Registry of Volunteer Non Governmental Organizations (No. 09121\u0391\u0395\u039515006\u039f14\u039d-1105) and of the Registry of Non Profit Organizations of Social Care of the Private Sector (109) of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Welfare.<\/p>\n

Mission \u201cANTHROPOS\u201d<\/em><\/strong> responds to humanitarian needs by organizing Missions<\/em> <\/strong>in the developing world, Programs<\/em> <\/strong>in Greece for vulnerable groups, migrants and refugees and Initiatives<\/em><\/strong> that address specific rising needs of the Greek society.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Since 2010, we have successfully completed three missions<\/em><\/strong> in Ethiopia in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and one mission<\/em><\/strong> in Tanzania in 2019.<\/p>\n

In Greece we have completed the programs<\/em><\/strong> \u00abWe Vaccinate – Children Without Insurance, Not Without Protection\u00bb<\/strong> (2012-2017) and \u00ab<\/strong>We care – For the Elderly<\/strong>\u00bb<\/strong> (2018), while two more are currently running: \u00abWe Support – Medical Care for All\u00bb<\/strong> (2013- to date) and \u00abWe offer – Smiles to Children\u00bb<\/strong> (2019-2020).<\/p>\n

Additionally, more than 27 parallel initiatives<\/em><\/strong> have been undertaken, with the help of our volunteers and in collaboration with an extended network of partners nation wide.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\nThe name of the organization expresses the essence of its mission: providing help to people. It reflects the organization’s approach to achieving this goal through the organization of humanitarian missions aimed at relieving the suffering of those in need.\nAt the center of the organization’s logo, the hand symbolizes the assistance offered to people in need, the heart represents the selfless humanitarian values that inspire its work, the cross signifies the fields of healthcare and medical care, while the blue and white colors refer to Greece\u2014the homeland of the organization’s founders and volunteers, as well as its headquarters.\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>

We organize, finance and support medical service provision activities with emphasis on the field of diagnosis and treatment, provision of medical equipment and medical education, as well as health infrastructure.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Missions to developing countries and Greece<\/span><\/h3>

We offer assistance to populations in need, in Greece and developing countries, to vulnerable social groups, to economic migrants and refugees, to asylum seekers, unaccompanied minors or to other people who have limited access to free healthcare.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Education<\/span><\/h3>

We contribute to the training of medical, nursing and paramedical personnel and to informing the general population and vulnerable groups on health issues with the aim of empowerment.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

The organization<\/span> Mission \u201cHUMAN\u201d <\/strong><\/a>\u00a0has developed<\/span>Quality Policy<\/a>which it is committed to following<\/span><\/strong> for the organization and support of humanitarian actions of medical care and psychosocial support to vulnerable social groups.<\/span><\/p>

In parallel, since March 2024 the organization has received ISO 9001:2015 Quality Certification<\/strong><\/a> for its Management System, an accreditation of its consistency, methodicality and reliability in the quality implementation of medical and pharmaceutical care actions for vulnerable people without discrimination.<\/span><\/p><\/div>

In 2025, the Academy of Athens, the highest intellectual institution in Greece, honored the organization Mission
Anthropos with a first-class prize in positive sciences, without a corresponding announcement, for offering medical and
pharmaceutical support to vulnerable groups and individuals who do not have access to health services in Greece and the
developing world.<\/p>
