From February to May, 70 caregivers from 5 Non-Profit Care Homes for the Elderly, participated in 4 thematic seminars, conducted by the teaching staff and the students of the PGP “Physiology of Aging and Geriatric Symptoms”. This was an as a part of the program “Improving the life of Seniors”, a collaboration between NGO Mission ANTHROPOS and the PGP, in the context of CIVIS Open Labs.<\/p>\n

We hope that the practical knowledge that the caregivers acquired with regards to the prevention and treatment of geriatric symptoms will help significantly the quality of life of seniors residing in the NPCHE. This knowledge will be gathered and transformed into a Good Practices Guideline, which will be uploaded online for free, hoping to become a point of reference to those who need it!<\/p>\n
