With our eyes turned to our most vulnerable fellow citizens in Thessaly, who were affected by the catastrophic floods of storm Daniel, the organization Mission ANTHROPOS donated medical equipment to Health Centers in the region, with support from Athens International Film Festival and private donations .
Responding to the request from the Health Center of Palamas, with a strong sense of social responsibility, the organization offered them 11 types of important medical-technological equipment, namely: defibrillator, hospital bed, electrocardiograph, furnace, centrifuge, doppler device, blood collection chair, blood collection lamp, stool, examination light and test tube stand.
Mission ANTHROPOS also contacted the Health Center in Farkadona after the disaster, and was informed about their needs and at their request thet were donated medical equipment, such as: electrocardiograph, vital functions monitor, hand pressure monitor and wheelchair, hospital bed, serum stand, nursing cart, glucose meter and glucose test strips.
We support the Health Centers that act as Beacons, offering invaluable health services and general support to the population of the region.
Part of the donation to the Health Center of Palamas was supported by our student volunteer, Christos Mp., who donated the profits from his own initiative “FloodReliefThessaly” for this purpose and we warmly thank him for it!
