At the start of autumn, just before schools reopened, three student volunteers from our organization visited elderly residents twice at the Care Home for the Elderly “Panagia i Eleousa”. During their meetings, they used audiovisual material — old songs, well‑known paintings, and poems — to spark conversations with the seniors about their personal life stories, awakening memories and emotions, and highlighting the value of intergenerational connection and interaction.
From all these moments, they will create a unique album filled with memories and intergenerational stories!
