On Friday we were in Thessaloniki, at the Blue Solidarity Center of Solidarity Now, to empower women from vulnerable groups — beneficiaries of our program “Mission WOMAN 45+: we embrace her needs” and of our partner organization, Solidarity Now.
The participating women engaged in an active discussion with our volunteer gynecologist, Ms. Kriara, listened attentively about female physiology, and learned extensively about pathological conditions and how to care for their bodies. In the coming days, these beneficiaries will undergo a complete blood and gynecological diagnostic screening, aiming for the most comprehensive possible empowerment regarding their health prevention.
We warmly thank Solidarity Now for the kind hospitality and co‑organization, our volunteer gynecologist Ms. S. Kriara for her invaluable contribution, and the esteemed Deputy Mayor of Social Policy, Solidarity and Welfare of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, Mr. E. Chatzitheoklitos, for his presence and his consistently meaningful support of our work in the area.
This action took place within the framework of the program “Mission WOMAN 45+: we embrace her needs” of Mission ANTHROPOS, which supports many beneficiaries of Female Forward by offering a free, comprehensive preventive medical check‑up and empowering women 45+ from vulnerable groups.
