At our next stop in Thessaloniki for the program “Mission WOMAN 45+: we embrace her needs,” we met 22 women beneficiaries of the Holy Metropolis of Neapolis and Stavroupolis. Their empowerment was supported by our volunteer gynecologist, Ms. Kriara, with whom they discussed in detail women’s health, the cancers that most commonly affect women, and the methods and practices of prevention.
The beneficiaries have already begun undergoing comprehensive preventive screenings, including blood tests, PAP tests, bone density measurements, digital mammograms, and breast ultrasounds.
