After a series of requests by old and new partner organizations, a group from the NGO Mission ANTHROPOS visited in the Easter break the storage facilities of the athletics company INTERSPORT. With the help of 6 volunteers, we managed to sort and pack in a single day 34 boxes of 1062 items – 247 pairs of shoes, 522 items of clothing and 293 accessories – for 508 beneficiaries from:
– Iliaktida AMKE in Mytilene, Lesvos
– the Accommodation Centres of Unaccompanied Minors of the NGO Zeuxis,
– the Accomidation Center for Unacompanied Minors “ESTIA” of NGO Apostoli,
– the Women’s Association “I Elpida”, in the Muslim minority of Drosero, Xanthi.
