A few days before the new school year began, three of our student volunteers organized a craft workshop for the elderly at an Care Home for the Elderly!
Over the course of three sessions, the residents of “O Kalos Samareitis” colored candles, created beautiful bookmarks, bead jewelry, drawings, and decorative canvases using the decoupage technique.
Their crafts were offered at a charity bazaar at the students’ school, and with the funds raised, the volunteers donated shampoo and evaporated milk to the Elder Care Unit at Christmas, helping cover their immediate needs.
