We continue our Intergenerational meetings, aimed at empowering seniors!
Students from the Nursing Assistant (General Nursing) program at the “Evangelismos” General Hospital took the baton from the NKUA students and held their own sessions with the residents of Non-Profit Care Homes!
Twelve students, divided into four groups, conducted 13 sessions at four partner long-term care facilities in Attica, focusing on movement, physical strengthening, and intergenerational interaction.
Their goal was not only to empower the seniors but also to familiarize themselves as future healthcare professionals with the elderly population and the social dimension of caregiving.
We look forward next year’s meetings!
